Description
Recommended Hunting Season – June to September.
Maximum of 5 day hunt.
Banteng are part of the Bovine species and originated in Southeast Asia. They were originally brought to the Northern Territory to supply Port Essington with meat and milk however when the settlement was abandoned in 1849, they were left to run wild. Now, Coburg Peninsula has the largest population of Banteng in the world. They are known for their characteristic curved horns and wild temperament making them a risk and adrenaline filled hunt.
Banteng hunts will be accompanied by a professional guide and will be a stalk style hunt. Your guide will carry all necessary safety equipment including a GPS and first aid kit as well as a backup firearm.
